Hold down the ALT key and type 0174.

LOL registered trademarks are the bane of my existance as a tech writer.

It depends on what you're typing in. For example, if you're in Microsoft Word or Outlook, if you type (r), it automatically gets converted to the circle R symbol.

In Windows you can also use the character map to find and copy symbols. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.

If you're writing HTML code and need a circle R, (or if you're typing in an Answer on Yahoo) here's what will get you that(remove the spaces): & reg;

Usually I just find one elsewhere and copy/paste it where I need it. Check out the "Terminology and Symbols" section of the wikipedia article I'm posting for more info. Good luck!

copy and paste from another website or document or go to the website below it has a couple escpecially that one ® see
