Give me a break. Where as he when I could have used air support in Vietnam? He is and always be a spoiled brat who has had everything handed to him.

forgot the 'w'. was not as. Where was he. He was going to happy hour interludes when I was slogging through the bid muddy. He has been an abject failure as a president and as a human being. We all have to answer to the lord at the end of the day.

Well considering his overall lack of ability to articulate his thoughts, talk show host is out.

Game show host would be better. He could be like Richard Dawson on the old Family Feud, and just kiss the women.

To my ill-informed friend "alone" who answered below. Respect is earned, and whether the American people truly elected him the first go around is certainly open for debate.

Bush has tried so hard to please everyone, special interests included, he has ended up pleasing almost no one, and thus an approval rating probably about 30%. Let's take a detailed look at how he has earned our respect:

1. He got us involved in a war in Iraq under false pretenses (that they had ties to 9/11 and had WMD).

2. We have wasted billions of dollars and thousands of lives on his war in Iraq, and the country is now worse off than it was before.

3. He has grown our deficit larger than any so-called "tax & spend liberals"

4. Unemployment is up, the economy is down, foreclosures are up.

That is how he is supposed to earn my respect?

Well he sure wouldn't have any career in sales. I don't think he could sell oxygen to a drowning man. That is what really baffles me. How could such an obviously dishonest, incompetent person ever be reelected President of the US? Sometimes I have some serious doubts about the intelligence of my extended family, my tribe, my countrymen, my fellow Americans.
