I heard this from some book and it said that if I die in my sleep, that means I died in real life. Now I'm scared to go to sleep. HELP!

I think what makes this so scary is that you can't prove it. If someone dies while dreaming and they just happened to also die in real life, you can't exactly ask, "Did you just dream that you died?"
But, no, a lot of people have died in their dreams and yet they still live. This isn't Nightmare on Elm Street. You can sleep peacefully tonight.

You will die anyways in real life even if you don't have a dream about dieing.

If that were the case, we'd have millions of "dream related deaths" every morning. So the answer is no, dreams don't come true like that. Go back to bed.

Seriously if you do I must need all the cats lives!! I've got killed and murdered in my sleep so many times, its like a routine now. Its horrible! but you won't die, trust me!

I have had a VERY realistic dream of being shot in the head and as soon as I "died" I woke up.

No that's not true, at least in my case. I've had many dreams where I died in it and here I am typing this answer.
