I would would first check the ignition switch and wire harness because this is a very common problem with these vehicles.

A wire is shorting out somewhere, hard to say where. Since your testing your ignition theory it sounds suspect but it could be something else. You need a electrical system check to track it down. Try Sears, they may test it for free.

I have to go with the ignition switch. Most accessories run thru and it just might be getting worn.

most likely they are ran on the same wire you need to go in your dash and check the wires.if the wires are ran on the same wire you need to rewire them.if the are on the same wire it can cause a fire under the dash.

Check the fuses...ground wire out or something otherwise
