I find it very sad that the main focus is, for the most part, on shopping, parties, gifts etc. I wish it was more about family, kindness to those less fortunate and the spiritual observance.

Sometimes I get kind of annoyed because I know I can't afford it even if it was on sale. My family is kind of poor. *sigh* That's the thing that I get really annoyed about. Every time I see something on the commercial that is really expensive but it's on sale, I wish I could have it but I can't. Only the really rich people could.

Yeah, I agree. I don't go in for all the commercialised rubbish. I just get the kids some presents and that's it.
