Is the Ginza a good place to stay in Tokyo if you plan on Partying in Roppongi?

I'm looking at staying at the Dai Ichi Annex hotel. Its very inexpensive and looks decent. Right in the heart of the Ginza I guess and close to the subway. Appears to only be a mile from Roppongi. Thing is, I'll be going to Roppongi to party at night and don't want to have an issue getting back when the trains stop. I don't mind taking a cab, but don't know how much it will cost and if it will be a hassle. The hotel price is very cheap, so I'm thinking it might be worth it. What else is around Ginza beyond shopping. I will also be sightseeing during the day.

I put from "Roppongi Station" to "Daiichi Hotel Annex", and here is a result..

Roughly 1,280yen to 1,380yen from 11:00PM to 5:00AM.

And 1,040yen to 1,160yen from 5:00AM to 11:00PM.

Of course it depends on the traffic and some other conditions.
But you can estimate under 1,500yen to go back to your hotel from Roppongi by taxi.

Dai Ichi hotels are OK-nothing special, but your average business hotel. It shouldn't be a hassle to cab it from Roppongi to Ginza in the wee hours, or else you can just stay out all night and catch the first train in the morning.
