I mean really if she was running out on the field I could see that as a distraction but sitting in the stands should not effect anyones way of playing. Or am I missing something

It's all about society. Romo has a load of talent in his offensive line giving him all the time in the world to look like a Troy Aikman. Not to mention the fact that half the "American Idol-music-destroying nation" believes that Jessica Simpson is a legitimate talent. Sure she can sing, yet she sings lyrics that other people write, to tunes that other people compose.
Put Tony Romo in a Giants uniform (I'm a Giants fan by the way) and see how good he looks. Put Jessica Simpson in a room with nothing but instruments and a pad of paper and see how good she looks.
After this happens, see who cares that they're dating.

The hundreds of people I have survey left and right of my stool just don't feel that way. They seem to think Romo is a straight shooter and admire him plus they don't think for a second his date played any role whatesoever.
My respondents are convinced he was unable to recover from a sprained thumb in time to throw accurately and win what should have been an easy win.
It seems these people consider it all about his injury, not triped up nutzoid ramblings about a girl. There is no evidence that everyone is down on Romo. Just an issue for trolls trying to get a rise out of dopes like me.

Come on everyone has a bad game. Jessica Simpson had nothing to do with it. Look at Tom Brady, he had a his worst game too. Nobody's making a big deal out of that....

Everyone is just hating on Romo. I'm not a cow fan but you can't hate the guy. I would have told T.O. to mind his own damn business and not talk to my girl. Anywho... she doesn't even have to be in the stadium to be a distraction. She's, obviously, way hot so all he has to do is catch one mental glimpse of what he has either already done to her or wants to and WHAM! There went his concentration. I think the team and their fans just need a scapegoat to blame for their crappy game. Suck it up and quit whining.

Dont get me wrong... I like Jessica Simpson and I like Tony Romo but when you know your girl is up there watching you perform it is a distraction. I think it is funny.

maybe its because he had his worst game of his career and also that she was a distraction maybe he saw her or someone told him she was there so that can get to you....thinkin hes gutta be more then great to impress her...
