They have little holes (spiracles) on the sides of the body. These openings let air into the Tracheae (small tubes) then branch down to Tracheoles (capillary like). Gas exchange happens in the Tracheoles since they are all thru out the body of the insect.

They have airholes called spiracles lined up on each side of the abdomen. These spiracles lead to branching tubes called tracheae that handle the gas exchange. No lungs.
