all three late, but I avoided induction by not agreeing like a dummy to have one for the last two. good luck.

My two oldest grandchildren both came eight days late. My third was five days late. Same mother.

Back in my day we didn't have the advantage of sonograms.... so the baby wasn't measured the same way and we didn't count by weeks. By the conventional way of counting due dates back then I was two weeks late both times. However I knew exactly when I concieved the second time so I went back and counted days. And found I was actually one week early. With twins!

My periods tended to run 30 days apart, which I read one time why I ran longer counting the old way because that system was set on a 24 to 26 day cycle.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but all 4 of mine were late! The 1st, 2nd & 4th were 10 days late, the 3rd 5 days late (but only because I asked the midwife to do a sweep of my cervix (although she was the longest labour and has been awkward ever since)

When the baby is ready they will make an entrance!

My first daughter was induced after 10 extra days of waiting since labor was not happening on it's own. My second daughter was induced 2 days before my due date since there weren't any signs of labor beginning any time soon this time either. I suspect that if I have another baby that one will be induced also. Some women just don't go into labor on there own. It is a hormone thing.

My first and only baby was late. We tried most things to get labour started but after a second attempt with reflexology (foot manipulation) by someone specialising in pregnancy reflexology my contractions started as I was leaving the treatment room. I can absolutely recommend it and even if it does not work it is very relaxing.

My 1st child was 13 days before due date and my 2nd was 7 days before due date. I think babies come when they're ready but i hope you can avoid induction this time around. Good luck!!!
