Transmission fluid is redish brown and greasy slick. There are a couple lines that run from the tranny up to the radiator for cooling, it can leak at the radiator fittings over time or if someone bumped it. If the leak is near the front then thats it. Go to a repair shop ASAP - check the trans. fluid level so you don't run out and burn up the transmission - $Big bucks to repair the tranny if that happens.

Engine lighting fixtures could be an indication of any form of problems. the computing gadget could have a code in it that a undeniable computing gadget is waiting to envision and tell the consumer what the superb situation is. As Mike pronounced, you may take it into Autozone or Pep boys or perhaps the toyota broker and get them to envision the code, they're going to then be waiting to enable you know what's inflicting the situation and no count number if it somewhat is a situation. additionally they would be waiting to reset the mild if it quite is not a huge deal.

tranny fluid. definatly. get it checked but it sounds like you need to replace your tranny pan gasket and filter. most older cars leak a little and i don''t hurt them muck but if it leaking in the extreme amout def dont drive it but if it is only leaking a little you should be fine as long as you keep the fluid level up.

It is either a coolant leak or a transmission leak, check both of your levels.

sounds like transmission fluid if it is like blood red, also some vehicles use the new pinkish-red antifreeze too so it could be either one leaking, best have it checked out to be sure.

Some coolant is red in color. Check the overflow tank or the radiator for proper level.
