Not usually, most doctors won't tell you until you are 18-20wks when they are more than 90% sure of their answer.

In the books it says the gender is visible at 14 weeks. But getting a doctor to check you that soon or even at 16 weeks is hard because its still so early the weiner could be too small to see and so to be safe they usually wait til around 20 weeks before they will give you an ultrasound to find out.

You'll probably have to wait a couple of weeks. I don't know if you have had one yet, but I used to work in an ultrasound department and a lot of those techs didn't want to tell the sex of the child if they couldn't see anything else because they thought that the woman only cared about the sex instead of if the baby was free of anomalies. I thought that was crazy, but hopefully you can get one done in the next two weeks or so and hopefully the baby is in a good position to tell the sex.
Congrats and good luck

I had a 3D/4D ultrasound done at 15 weeks to find out the sex (BOY!). My doctor did their ultrasound at 19 weeks and confirmed that it's a boy.
So yes, it is possible, but from my experience, the doctors will not do the ultrasound until 18 - 20 weeks.
Keep in mind, this does depend on the baby being cooperative.

The sex of the baby is completely determined by 14 weeks. However, the doctor will not usually do an ultrasound just to determine sex, which is why most people do not find out until their anatomy ultrasound at 18-20 weeks. Good luck!

i think of I possibly had 2 desires so a techniques in my being pregnant (presently 27 weeks) that I had a boy and that i've got been having somewhat reliable boy thoughts for some reason. yet after 4 ultrasounds i'm having a woman i assume each and every now and then our physique could be incorrect. good luck inclusive of your being pregnant.

You can find out anywhere between 16 and 20 weeks. I found out at 19 weeks.

Not by your doctor because they won't do it until you are at least 18-20 weeks, but you can go to an ultrasound place and they will do it for you at 15 weeks.

My daughter played peek-a-boo every time I went in for a check up. However, at 24 weeks I had to have an amniocentesis, to check for possible genetic problems. That sucker is fool-proof when it comes to your babies gender because it's the babies DNA that's tested. But because of possibly starting early labor, no Doctor will allow you to have one just so you know what color to paint the nursery!

You will usually have to wait until your 20 week scan where sometimes they will be able to tell you(depends on how the baby is lying). That is also if your hospital where you have the scan will tell you as some won't.
