That's like saying: "How can you say you want to find love when your dysfunctional marriage wasn't working out?"
How do you know the next terrorist attack doesn't come from a country that seems on our side?
Now that we've started it in Iraq it would look really bad if we just left everything in bad shape, plus there's a lot of money to be made. Companies can go there and rebuild and make millions in profit. And we can make sure they continue to sell oil for dollars and not another currency.
Fighting terrorism is a matter of setting priorities, using intelligence, and taking care of terrorists surgically, keenly targeted, rather than generalizing and killing off anyone who looks similar or lives in a country whose leader cheered when the mostly Saudis blew up the WTC on 9/11.
Iraq was a mistake and we are neither more nor less safe than we were.

You just proved our point!
I thought the war in Iraq started because of the "War on Terror"!
So Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terror?
Then why have we sent 600 billion U.S. tax dollars to fund it?
If it is only for a failed and forced Democracy - then why are we there!

We must stay committed to expanding the Iraq war to Iran for our President Bush's legacy. No sacrifice is too great for our endeavor. Bin Laden is of no importance, terror is not a viable threat to the security of the USA, so now we need a bigger boogeyman - Iran.

Because, they somehow think all the al quada in Iraq, will go back to afghanistan, if the US pulled out of Iraq.
Think about it, they said we needed a coalition for iraq,
Then when we had a coalition for the North Korea talks, they said we needed one on one talks.
Whatever Bush decides to do, they want the exact opposite.
Bush wanted to work thru the UN to get peacekeepers for Darfur, they wanted Bush to unilaterally intervene.
They have been telling Bush to cut spending for years, now he is trying to cut spending, they wanna increase spending.
It has gotten to the point now, If Bush announced he had a cure for cancer, they would whine, he didn't cure aids first.

Because the two have nothing to do with each other. I also do not believe it was only the democrats that voted to get us into Iraq.

I've got a better question: What terrorists were in Iraq before the war started?
Don't say Al Quida, they weren't
Don't say Hussein. Scum that he was, he wasn't a terrorist.
Stop trying to rewrite history, you're not that good at it.

Because they are like a fish out of water. They flop back and forth with not point.
But the people that voted for them don't think about that, that is why Killer Kennedy still have a seat in the senate for Massachusetts. That is why Hilary Clinton is New Yorker, yeah, right.
Liberals has a weird thinking that if you treat the bad guys with kindness, they will, somehow, treat us nice too. But liberals want to keep on trying to repeat history errors until they think some day it will work.
But when you are dealing with savages, you just can not talk to them, unless it a talk about condition of surrender when they finally get their as$ kicked.
That is why if Americans vote in a liberal in 08, we will see L. A. burn when the attack begins.

They can't. Like their Savior Bill Clinton they change their mind when public opinion changes and of course public opinion is jaded by what the liberal media tells us. Things are now going well in Iraq, but there have been no reports about it.
