I go to a performing arts school, and I'm pleased to say that ALL of the teachers act like teenagers (theatre teachers, media teachers, dance, writers... even the academic teachers). Where they can be strict, they are often goofing off with the students and playing pranks on other teachers. This livens my school up a bit so it makes learning more enjoyable.

I seriously don't know how my school would be if my teachers weren't there to make the day more enjoyable.

You can even find the head of security goofing off with students (he's at least 50) and playing pranks on administration. Everyone loves him.

If it doesn't interfere him for doing a good job and as long if the students aren't showing any dislike then it actually better to have that kind of teacher. He can bring up the mood on class and know how to get along with the students

I think they need to grow up. There is a way to be friendly with the students and still be professional, and I would hope someone who is teaching teens had the brains to figure out the balance of it. If they don't act with the authority that they should, they won't be taken seriously.

They need to lose their jobs. I've had high school teachers bully me, pick on me, & make an @$$ out of me, JUST like the students. & you only get passing grades if they like you. If they hate you, you got an F in the course, even if you DESERVE an A. Also, there were certain teachers who were considered POPULAR, as well as the students. The teachers should focus on their jobs instead of trying to think they're important.

foolish
my kids have a couple like that. i love my daughters teacher, but my sons teacher is so cocky and pompous , and thinks he is better than anyone else.
I told him the other day that he was made out of the same dust as the little poor girl he was ridiculing.
Teachers like him really should NOT be teaching.....
Sad!

Believe me everyone at one point has feelings for their teacher and I think that is because teachers are nice, smart, and adults. Since we are children still it is very easy for us to get attached so just ignore it.
