Its on Saturday, they do something called Scrogging the Holly, Santa picks a child and gives it the key to fairyland, once the gate is open Christmas starts and lots of little kiddies dressed as elf's and fairies dance through holly leaves that are placed on the floor, its really pretty and magical, then we have an open air carol service by candlelight.

Well... no. However in the Northeast Philadelphia suburbs, there is a Thanksgiving parade, which there is always a Santa at the end of that parade. Then there's the New Year's Day Mummers parade... that's always fun.

We have a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a winter festival that includes Santa, hot chocolate, cookies. It's alot of fun and we've been so lucky the past 2 years it's snowed - so it's beautiful!
