Why do girls try to cause drama for other girls? I know this girl, she's 23 but acts like she's twelve, i don't talk to her that often but when she talks to me she always tried to cause drama in my life. I'm 20, married, and I really don't have time for her but I don't want to be mean. What should I do? Could she be doing this out of jealousy/immaturity? It's really getting on my nerves!!!

Some people seem to crave drama in their life and if there is none they will create it. It is as though they feed off chaos. My S-I-L is like this. She no doubt grew up in a chaotic home without much discipline and she can't seem to function unless their is something going on. We could be visiting, playing cards and having a pleasant evening and for no reason she'd start picking at her husband until she provoked him into a fight. I guess she wants to liven things up. She is a gossip and will tell a person a half truth knowing it will wind them up.
I've always gotten the impression that if she didn't have this drama in her life she might actually have to sit down and take real stock of hers. I think the drama is a distraction that keeps them in denial over their own problems. Just my thoughts.

It could be jealousy and immaturity. It could also be that she has no one else. Don't be mean, but tell her that u don't have time for her and tell her y. IF she can't understand that...then be mean. Screen your calls, ignore her when she comes over etc. You've gotta do whatever it takes for her to get the message. It might be hard too, if she really is lonely and you're her only friend.

I have a friend who is 32! going on 17. Iknow where u are coming from. when she starts her drama crap tell her u are working on ur karma and u dont need any bad vibes around, and u dont feel like gossip or hear say anymore. when she starts tell her she's messing with your aura and u dont need that in ur life.

You just said that she acts like she is twelve, so treat her like that. Ask her what her story is , and why you feel the way you do. There is no better way to make someone see themself, until someone checks them and they have to see what everyone else sees. If you don't want to, then don't talk to her period.

She's just jealous. Ignore her, that will make her feel like the worthless piece of (u know what) she is. She is not worth your time.
