"Stalked" is too broad of a term. You are, in a sense, being stalked online because all the major sites track your computer's IP address, countless Web sites collect data about your visit to their Web pages, and if you do anything unseemly online the Gov't may stalk you.

You should not be paranoid about such things because the only person who is hurt by such paranoia is you. You should take a more laid-back view of the virtual reality of the Internet. It's like politics: glitz and poop!

Just because someone looks up information about you on the Internet does not make him or her a stalker. And, even if someone is interested in contacting you via information retrieved from the Internet, it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

As for "Why?" Well, who can fathom the weird depths of the twisted hearts and minds of humans? Don't let your mind be troubled. Be at peace with others, and others will be at peace with you.

what do you mean by stalked online? Theres really no way you can find out if someone is googling you, but I would assume you had something else in mind.

i agree. nothing wrong with looking people up or checking out their websites. but when people pose or assume another identity to chat with you, that is creepy!
