You must find it out yourself, but I find the capital Copenhagen very cool and the Danish people, they are very nice and friendly!
I suggest you read a little about Denmark of today and the history of Denmark before you go there. By knowing more of Denmark you will learn a lot more when being in Denmark and the Danes will help you to know even more, when they see that you are interested in their country!

Denmark is a country of separated islands (and a peninsula attached to Germany), which has caused it to have a lot of regional character. It is mostly flat with little hills (no real mountains). Make sure you have access to a bike!
The Danes are very nice to strangers, in my experience, and they like explaining their local traditions and history. It's a very democratic country with a relatively uniform level of wealth (that is, unlike in the United States, people don't range from terribly poor to very rich).
I would suggest that you let local students show you what they care about. It may be small things, but that is what Denmark is really about. Small, wonderful, traditional things.
There are some great old books about Denmark, with a lot of history and geography in them, written by Karin Michaelis. They are children's books about a girl named Bibi. I read them as a child, and recently reread the first four. They are not easily available in English, but you might try. A couple of antiquarian book sources you might try are Alibris.com and Abebooks.com. The reason these books are still being read is their timelessness and wealth of information.

i've got self belief plenty relies upon on the place in those international places you should probable learn. i'm extremely prepared on Canada frequently. you should income know-how of in English at McGill and nevertheless have a brilliant number of probability to % up French on the comparable time residing in Montreal. Vancouver is a gem of elementary elegance with a brilliant number of issues to do outdoor. yet i could a brilliant number of the time substitute into bored in Winnipeg (aka Winterpeg) or London, Ontario after some months. in an analogous way, some business enterprise cities in Germany do not seem probable the main alluring, although distances are smaller to now and returned wreck out. The Australian greenback is robust suitable now. yet while it drops sharply for the time of your thoughts, you should very possibly evaluate in basic terms a splash ailment in Norway or Sweden.
