I do a little of both.
Putting things in bags save time, but when you live with the same people your giving the presents to you should probably wrap those presents...just so you know they aren't peeking.

I love the gift bags!
Many people I know keep their gifts bags, as I do. They are good for carrying your wrapped gifts as well.
I was just in the store today, and they had so many different designs and sizes.
I definitely prefer them over wrapping, and I especially like stuffing them with extra goodies and then adding nice colorful layers of sheet paper on top.

Usually wrap most Christmas presents. Birthday presents tend to get into bags.

That depends -- sometimes I start out wrapping and end up bagging -- it's a time thing. Sometimes I just can't figure out how to wrap the odd shaped thing or find an appropriate box, so in the bag it goes.

Wrap them. To me gift bags just show that the person who bought the gift was too lazy to actually bother wrapping it.

gift bags are easier...but I know that I love to unwrap presents so I usually wrap the ones that I buy for other people

It really depends on the present......I mostly wrap all of my gifts, but if it is too bulky, or awkward then I will use a bag!
