I've seen "VIP" tickets advertised on Ebay and such into nightclubs such as Pure, Rain, etc. Are they legit? I assume it's just for the cover charge and not the front of the line.. What do people recommend in regard to buying club passes/tickets?

go to www.napkinnights.com and sign up for the guest lists that morning.. you do need access to a printer to print out the confirmation sheet /code. ( i usually cut them out so they fit with my ID in a mini clutch) its all free.

The VIP passes on eBay are for cover charge only. Most are not valid after midnight or during special events and holidays.
They will not let you in the VIP entrance or to the front of the line with those passes.
Also keep in mind those passes are handed out for free all over the place once you get to Vegas, so it's not usually that good of a deal.
