how the h*ll do you solve a hard one? looked at a few and they dont make sense.

Can do crosswords, including the Times, but those damn things just wind me up.

I love em ...its the practice and hints and tips that you can pick up from books ...as for the hard ones I remember at the begining thinking no way can I do them ...but after some time and lots of practice you will be good

i usually go through each num at a time. check which squares i can fit 1's into then move on to the 2's etc then i look at which squares have the least blanks an try those. methodical approach always works for me!

ive solved professional, and sudoku X, hundreds of easies and mediums. and a few hards.
its real easy. i have sudoku on my phone and i play it all the time

All you've got to do is get a Easy one(If you are just learning)And fill in the gaps that are not already in that coloun of numers,row of numbers or boxes

there are so many different ways to work out numbers, a lot of it coms with practise but the best way is to eliminate numbers that cannot go in a particular square

logic, persistence, and sometimes a lucky guess. I don't get all of them, but I get more than half of the "evil" ones on this page.
