Well the first topic of discussion would be a plan to get out the elevator. :)

Assuming we're stuck there until rescued, I'd enjoy a long conversation with Bush on all kinds of topics, despite the fact I do not agree with all his policies.

If we found we disagreed about politics too much to keep the conversation civil, we could always switch the topic to baseball. I'd be very curious as to what he thought about the Mitchell report, and ask point-blank why the Texas Rangers always seem to sign sluggers, but never make serious attempts to capture decent starting pitching.

I'm also fairly libertarian, and I'd be curious to see how he would react to some of my libertarian views on government spending, earmarks and pork.

It would be a crowded elevator but I would talk to one of the secret service people and see what he is doing to get us the heck out of there.

The weather, because anything else would be a waste of time!

nah, in all honesty... after 5 minutes of small talk I'd dive right in to Iraq and what not.. I'd be respectful but debate my point of view... if for no other reason than I love to debate.

I could think of many things to talk about but the first thing that I would do is to thank him for being a man of honor and conviction.

I'm sure I'd find something to say/do .It would be like a scene from a horror movie, but without the fake blood.
