iam very much interest in astronamy,i want to see all planets clearly and other objects too,so which type of telescope i prefer? reflect or refracter---in this 2type which is more better to use long years? i can spent till $800 ,so pls help me to choose better telescope and company for sky watching...mail me your suggesions ,thank you from-- Rahul babu k

You generally get more bang for your buck with a reflector telescope. I have both and I prefer the reflector over the refractor.

One good place to look for telescopes online is Orion Telescopes. They sell all the popular brands and accessories at good prices.

First thing,what you want to observe. If it is planets,better go for retractor. For general purpose, reflector gives more aperture.for your money.
Before spending money,learn to identify constellations by naked eye. Then buy a pair of binoculars and see more details.

Its originally made to view Saturn but for $250 it is great.

Get the best reflector telescope you can afford.
