I can forgive easily but I do not easily forget.

i do both quite well, but sure there are situtation you can't forget and there are situtation you can't forgive. the second though is my hope and wish and i do my best to forgive.

I can forget but sometimes I find it hard to forgive. Depends on the circumstances.

i can also forgive very easily but to forget something is very hard
i forgive him for breaking my heart and givihng me hope and promises but i dont know how to forget what he has done to me so does that mean that truly i havent forgiven him?
if you cant forget does that mean you cant forgive trully from your heart either???

I'm the same as you..
It's a choice to forgive, but you can never erase thoughts or experience...
If you just put it behind you, you'll eventually forget it a few years down the road though..
