Dr. Watson is a part of Microsoft Windows Platforms. I have used to check by PC, and when there is a critical error, like a buffer overflow, the incident is recorded and can be sent to Microsoft for investigation. Plus the overflow of data is dumbed before your PC, is rebooted.

As to your question, no will not cause you any problems with your PC.

If you are using Microsoft Defrag., it is a piece of garbage. You would be better off trying to find a free defrag., with your search engine.

Myself I use Dishkeeper Enterprise Edition, and you must purchase. Runs in the background auto. and keeps my PC, 100% defragmented.

I did that to one of my computers and it screwed it up badly. That computer is toast now! Before removing that program make sure everything else is safe.. If you must remove dr. watson program do it in safe mode!
