they have one for sale on ebay but it says it's locked and i just wanted to know if it would be hard or expensive to unlock it.

Helio is my cell carrier and i want to purchase the Ocean but it's so expensive and the one on ebay is cheaper.

Macgrl unlocking a phone is to use it on another phone companies service. If you already have Helio service then having a helio device is all you need.
It has been asked by others about unlocking Helio phones, Helio is more than a phone and if you unlock it all you are able to use is the phone function from what others have stated. So anyone looking for a Helio device it only works on the Helio Network and offers great service and options.

When you unlock it i dont know what you'd do with it!
Helio uses a CDMA system. You might be able to take it to sprint.
