Thank goodness I've never heard anyone beyond the age of six ask that question, whether pretty or ugly! How insecure could you get?

Yes, they do that because they think they are ugly, too. People sometimes think something beautiful is really ugly.

yeah because maybe they are embarassed to ask that and then put up a picture. only the "pretty" ones ask that constantly to get an ego boost ugh! that is so annoying!

thats such a mean assumption, i posted a pic cuz i dont see myself as pretty and cuz i always wondered how do other people see me, strangers say the truth friends try not to hurt ur feelings

doesnt matter, these types of questions should be illegal or a violation, because if you answer honestly you get a violation..meaning if you say 'yes' you are ugly
