Rabbits can survive in really cold temperatures. If it get below freezing pack some timothy hay into the cage to help your rabbit keep warm. Make sure your rabbits water bottle doesn't freeze! Rabbits can stand the cold just not the heat!

They can stand VERY cold temperatures if they have hay or something to dig into for warmth. BUT they have to get used to it gradually. Don't take an indoor rabbit and put it abruptly out into freezing temperatures.
Make sure they have water that isn't frozen, and plenty of food.

rabbits are better off in the cold than the heat because they have fur coats. However if the temp is around the freezing point I suggest putting some hay (never straw!) with the rabbit. it i sn't necessary to bring it inside, just make sure your rabbit also has plenty of fresh water because the cold will freeze the water.

They like it cold. But they're nocturnal and like the dark. Not sure about the specific temperatures.

look outside at the wild rabbits!! with their thick hair and layers of fat, rabbits find the cold temps more tolerable than the heat. my rabbit lives on my balcony -it is currently 40 degreees, but has been in the low teens with snow and ice. i have lots of places for him to hide and find protection which i fill with straw in the winter. he gets lots of fresh veggies (especially leafy greens) and timothy hay. i have to thaw out his water bottle every morning, but he tends to lick the snow and ice. he uses the litter box less in the winter, but i keep it clean daily.
