I would have to say my bite. I carry through with my bite. The bark is a warning as to how bad/intense the bite might be.

I always forewarn people not to assume that this little old lady is helpless. My tongue can be as sharp as a knife and my bark can get the attention of a room full of people. I spent 33 years in a profession that taught me how to protect myself both verbally and physically. It really comes in handy-even at the age of 70.
