Never fight.
If you pretend to be a civilized human being, eventually, it will take.
If you keep up with the fighting, you'll never know the joys of having a human life.
Ignore them.
Be a proud person, not a brainless, sicko who can only deal with life through the cowardice of fighting.

How about grow up! I'm sorry if this seems rude but there are far too many issues you could be worrying about besides what people are gonna think. I think you should be worried about how are you gonna make up the work you missed while serving your suspension. If you are in high school which it sounds like you are by the time you get back from suspension they will have moved on to the next pointless thing. A little advice next time you want to fight at least wait until you get out of school. I'm only telling you this because I've seen so many people get killed over stupid stuff that doesn't even matter in the end. Just chill and try to focus on more productive things.

Learn how to stop letting other people pull your strings.
So you got beat up, got suspended, get laughed at, get put down, get worried about how other people see you now, feel bad and confused etc etc etc ....and the other guy is slandering you in public; and no doubt feeling real tough and good about himself.
What is this teaching you?
Ok, you can't change what has happened now but if you think about how you got into the fight in the first place you might be able to avoid it happening again. As for advice, here's mine...
Don't get into fights YOU haven't a damn good reason for.
Do know why fighting is the only way.
Don't get into fights you can't win.
Don't let idiot gorillas taunt you into fighting them.
Do make sure you know HOW to fight.
Don't hit first (unless this is the only way to win an unavoidable fight.
Do a Fonze if you lose - and a Mr Miyagi if you win.

Don't worry about! It is likely that he got into trouble with his parents for fighting and being suspended so he is going to talk garbage, but he probably isn't going to fight with you again. Just be confident, pretend you don't care when someone says something and change the subject when it gets brought up....most people will get bored talking about it, and move on to the next gossip subject. Don't engage in any conversation, saying I kicked his butt because that is only going to encourage another fight. Seriously, it will be old news fast. Let the jerk talk crap on myspace. Obviously, if he won, he wouldn't have to brag about it!!! Good luck!!!

well, my friend [well not anymore, he's a betrayer] got in a fight & got in suspension. few ppl said he won but most ppl said he lost & got a bloody nose. he came back to school in a week & ppl were going up to him & saying da da da [what they heard] & then he started reacting alot to it which made it look like the thing most ppl were saying was true because it looked like he didn't want to look like a loser.
I'm one of those super sensitive ppl so I try not to get in a fight because i'll feel bad no matter what whether I lose or not but I'm super niceeee which I don't like b/c some ppl think i'm a goody goody, i'm not though.
It's all goong to be just a memory & laugh over it! Life is just for experiences & for something else like glorifying God which means doing good things much as possible.

It depends on the situation here. Did you start the fight?
If you did, I think that the first thing you should do is be a man and go apologize to the person. Win or lose if you started it you should finish it. And I think apologizing will be a good thing. Now if you didn't start the fight, then you should wait for that person to apologize to you. Now if that person doesn't, wait a few days and comfront him and tell him that he started something that he didn't finish. And tell him that he owes you an apology. If he doesn't apologize, then you apologize for him. Then walk away. Now about your friends. Now is the time to really find who is most loyal to you and who you want to keep close to your life. Life is hard my friend. It is that path that you chose to walk on is what makes who are. Take care.

physical violence (fighting) is the last resort of the incompetent. Suggest you need to worry a great deal less about what you've stated here and much more worried about being a competent human being.

Actually if you ignore them they will eventually let up. The trick is to not let them know it bothers you. There are sooo many other things in life to worry about that what others think or say about you.

Who cares? If you don't care what they think, then what they think doesn't matter.
