Help! Shopping for my mom. She is 68. She is ill. Loves bingo and dining with friends, but hasn't been able to do any of that lately due to medical treatments. Price rang: $200. No jewelry.

Why not throw her a small party and invite her friends over for a few games of bingo... You be the host, order out from her favorite restaurant or you can cook, and then have a few rounds of bingo.

Get some little bingo prizes, get some food from her favorite place, or cook some yourself, and invite her friends over for a bingo night. I think she may appreciate that more that a traditional gift.

Gift cert for a set of golf lessons or a gift cert for a round of golf(usually runs about $40-60at local golf links). If he is into video games and want to spend $100 get him the new Guitar Heroes game (comes w/ guitar shaped controller) for PS2.

if she's not able to leave the house much right now, maybe you can her some of her favorite movies or tv shows.... i actually bought my grandma a dvd player ($30 at Radio Shack) and all the seasons of a show she likes... and she LOVEDDDD it
