He received a political donation from a notorious admitted white supremacist, but wouldn't give it back, offering the utterly outrageous and offensive explanation that the money would be better spent in his pocket. Is this guy for real? Has he just wanted to be a fringe candidate all along? Or, perhaps, is he actually trying to cater to the "white supremacist vote"? Either way, all of you internet Ron Paul fans should do some serious re-evaluation.

There's a difference between getting contributions from "shady characters," than from a self-professed white supremacist. Every single candidate for the past few elections, other than this clown and Pat Buchanan, would have returned the donation the next day.

REBOP: A candidate can't prevent someone evil from endorsing him/her. But you can always return the money.

Good for him for keeping their money. He's right, he can do FAR more good with it than giving it back to them to spread their lies and hate with.

No he isn't, you can't hold him accountable for who his supporters are.

Most candidates have received unflattering donations, Huckabee received contributions from pedophiles, Giuliani's co-chair actually made the statement "blacks are retarded" & Obama not only is backed by the most abrasively anti-gay gospel singers, he had them represent his campaign on his "Embrace the Courage" gospel music tour.

Again I don't hold these candidates accountable for who endorses them, it doesn't mean they share the same beliefs.

Ron Paul is the furthest thing from a racist, but he doesn't play a shallow game of gestures where he chooses what individuals can support him.

Ron Paul is getting a lot of donations from many not so called "good crowd". A lot of extremists, haters of America. I just do not understand how he can do the things he is promising to do. Anyone in their right mind knows we have a system of checks and balances and a President does not have that kind of power. Like he can twitch his nose and the world will be perfect. If you think the terrorists are going to leave us alone if we leave them alone, I sure hope he would have a back up plan!!!! Does he have a little Dementia, I can not believe anyone in Texas especially Ron Paul would not know who Johnny Sutton is and what he has done to the lives of those Border Patrol agents. I am just baffled. I have tried really hard to understand why so many back him. He just seems so aloft to what is going on around him.

Like none of the other candidates have ever received money from a shady character. I believe Slick Willie got into some doo doo for receiving campaign funds from someone he shouldn't have.

I disagree with you, money is neutral, and a candidate needs money to campaign. all canditates take shady money, why do you think Bush has given pardons to so many drug dealers? and who could have been worse than slick Willy the pardons he lined up for money. So climb down from your high horse, and get real

Well, in his defense, he is probably right about the money being better spent in his pocket than some alleged white supremacist.

I don't think Don Black ever admitted being a white supremacist. That's a media slur. To be factually correct, he is a white nationalist.

who cares, Dr. Paul is the only one trying to save our economy and our country from going into a depression. He's the only one speaking the TRUTH!!! and that's what matters most, everyone else is in this twilight zone, where they think everything is just fine and dandy. WAKE UP! Maybe you need to re-evaluate your reality.

Ron Paul is right. Why give the money back to a supremacist? I respect him for not cowering down to liberal pressure to return the money. It's about time someone stands up for them selves.
