Your idea is good. We have given Starbucks gift cards "wrapped" in Godiva chocolate boxes (small) to my son's teachers and they all have expressed how much they like it.

We get those at Barnes & Noble. We have also given them the bookstore's gift card if we don't know if they like coffee or not.

When I taught, I loved anything my students gave me at Christmas... Snowglobes, Angel ornaments, even just a card with a well thought out message. As long as it looks like you put thought and effort into it, your teacher will love it!

Sounds like a crush...

Try a small gift card to Starbucks or TIm Hortons, or wherever the local coffee joint is.

I like your idea and I think your teacher will too. You can also give your teacher a "teacher" pin or a mug filled with candy! Best wishes

Physics teacher? I'd give her one of those things with the metal balls that go back and forth. Like this one-

A t-shirt that says, "There is no gravity. The Earth sucks."

Or,

"Absolute zero is totally cool."

or,

If Heisenberg gets pulled over by the police, how can they know how fast he's going?

or,

"Schrodinger's Cat is Dead........ or, Alive..."

or,

"Entropy Happens!"

Don't give your teacher food. Sorry. Teachers either can't accept that, or will throw it away when you're not looking, because of the danger of poisoning.

Your teacher, like every other human being, wants a sports watch.
