What is wrong with having a farm tractor and being from a farm? You like to eat don't you? There are some very intelligent people that run farms.

I think it is just because of his accent. I am not saying I endorse him or I do not.

"Where he parked his tractor???" I don't understand the intended insult or connection between Ron Paul and farmers. Is being a farmer supposed to be a bad thing, because the last time I checked, it is a farmer that provides all our food? Shouldn't that garner them a bit more respect, regardless of how they might speak? This country was built on the backs of the farmers and people like them. I will agree that he doesn't sound rehearsed, but isn't that also a good thing? Doesn't that indicate he is speaking from the heart and not just paying us lip service in an effort to become elected? Honestly, I don't want a president who has a rehearsed answer for every question and enough charisma that makes us over look the times when we disagree with him/her. That type of person is just telling me what I want to hear in an attempt at becoming elected. Give me an honest person that speaks from the heart any day!!!

Because you were probably born post WWII. As such, you have been trained that the government should "do something" any time there is a problem, and that the government should "take care of people".

Well, the government does a poor job of each, and has no obligation to take care of you.

The man's a Doctor, and probably actually did his own homework. I bet the moron running the country now paid to have his homework done! He sure knows more about the constitution than our resident moron does too.

He reminds me of Marshall Applewhite of the Heaven's Gate cult. Those are the ones that killed themselves thinking that they would be taken to heaven by a UFO hiding behind the Hale-Bopp comet.
