I guess nobody knows. I would think that would be something you would want to know from a group promising to raise taxes.

Basically the answer to your question would be "None of the above" as they would all raise taxes. The vaseline manufacturers even have an extra large size model in the works for your use when your tax bill comes in the mail.

Of all of the Democrats currently running I think Bill Richardson is the most balanced. But even he buys into the myth that the rich don't pay enough taxes.

I don't understand how any rational person can think that even though the top 5% of tax payers account for over 57% of federal revenues they don't pay their fair share of taxes. I guess that's why I am not a Democrat.

Raising taxes is not necessarily a bad move given the out of control national debt the repubs have saddled us with. It would be like making a higher payment on your credit card. The long term benefits are obvious and will boost the economy. Why are repubs so short sighted with regard to economic concerns.

Not sure, but the "low taxes=good times for the working class" myth has been busted. Low taxation SOUNDS great, but Republican politicians know that it translates into the corporate interests and big business that is in fact bankrupting this country.

Insurance companies, drug companies, creditors, all of these businesses WANT Republicans to promise low taxes to voters as this format opens the door to a conservative situation of income disparity for most Americans.

Low taxes are not the issue, a government that works for its citizens and not corporate special interests that bankrupt this country IS.

I'm told Democrats raise taxes and spend more.
Republicans borrow money and spend more and pass the debt on to future generations.

So I guess if true then if any of the Dem. win they will raise taxes..

With the Bush debt I don't see how any President will be able to hold down taxes.
