well i took the SAT's in 2003. Back then, the highest score was a 1600. My test was before the first year of the writing sample, I didn't study at all. i got a 850. HORRIBLE. my grades were about a B- Average. Luckily, i even got into a 4 year college with lots of minorities. I got a 4.0 in my freshman year and if you have a 3.0 or more you can transfer so i transdered to a good college. Now i'm a senior in college with a 3.91 GPA my LSAT (Law school admission test) score is a 172 out of 180 which is over 98%. I've already applied to law schools last month and am expecting acceptances. i actually applied to schools like Columbia, Cornell, Fordham. All top-notch schools in NY. I saw what they were looking for and i saw that i am pretty much a shoe-in into their school.

The lesson here is, don't worry. If you did bad on the SAT that means NOTHING. You can always change your life around in college. Just don't mess up in college. I changed my studying habbits in college and now i'm awaiting top acceptance from tier 1 lawschools.

Even though law schools don't care about high school at all they only look at college grades and LSAT score, i did HORRIBLE on my SAT and pretty bad in my high school overall GPA. BUT don't lose hope, it's not the end.
