Im making a craft right now. I want the base to be hard but i dont want to wait for the playdoh to harden overnight. Does anyone know if you can put it in the oven?

I was Shirley Temple for Halloween one year, and we made a big, swirly lollipop out of Play-Doh. I think we microwaved it, and then shellacked it. But it was good and hard when we were done with it!

Polymer clay is made to be baked-hard. Playdoh will harden, but not like polymer clay. Go to your local art/craft store and get some Sculpey III polymer clay. The crafts will turn out looking much better than if you use Playdoh.

I'd think you could bake it..although I'm not sure what chemicals are in it. I'd put it on your lowest temp setting, and keep an eye on it.

Don't microwave it though!! It might explode all over the place..

you can bake it, or just leave it out for a long time.
