If you want a touchscreen interface, then I would look at the Zumo450 or 550. (I ususally suggest something in the Nuvi series, but for the snowmobile, I would recommend the Zumo for its waterproof rating. If you can live without the touchscreen interface, and voice routing, I would look at the GPSMAP 60cx or csx. You'll get better battery life, and it is very rugged. It also is easier to mount. You can get a ram ball mount for the snowmobile, and motorcycle, and use the same arm and cradle between the two. The garmin friction mount for the car.

Prices are dropping fast on GPS unit. I suspect the best car (on road) gps is not the best snowmobile (off road) gps. You want just budget for seperate unit.
On a side note, I just bought the bottom of the line Magellan unit from Staples for $150. Great deal and a great unit.
For your bike, note you will not be able to hear the speaker. You will want a unit that has bluetooth.
