Part 1 &2 were great. Now we're left hanging. I already finished the Odd Thomas series. And good page-turners for the meantime?

The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz

Down River By John Hart
Too Late to Be Forgotten by Linwood Barclay....these three are good page turners!

"Velocity" is pretty good. I felt "left hanging" in the middle of this book by Koontz, but the end made up for it.

"The Traveler" by John Twelve Hawks is the genuine article. It is a constant race, and is available in small-size paperback (in other words, a regular size instead of the out-size they're printing now to make more money. Phooey...)--

It's a cliff-hanger too, so look for the second in the series as well, since it was supposed to be out by the summer of 2007. (it wasn't, but may be now).
There are a couple of slow-down chapters, but they just let you catch your breath, and then you plunge on. Set a bit ahead of our time-- they say.
Luck--
