It will never happen, sorry to say. I like Ron Paul, but he's got about as much chance as a snowball in hell to win the republican nomination, or an independent run or whatever...........It won't ever happen. The only value in him running at all is that it gives us a clear picture of who it is, and what it is, that is REALLY governing the country. It's NOT the republicans. It's NOT the democrats. It's a not-so-invisible One Party Rule consisting of global corporations, global industrialists, global businesses, global military powers and global political lobbyists. When the dust settles after the election, they will be the only majority that wins, REGARDLESS WHO THE PRESIDENT IS!!

The miniscule amount of supporters of Ron Paul from all over the nation wouldn't fill the New Orleans Superdome. They would barely fill the infield and you expect people to come together and elect him? I know people can dream but reality shows he is not going to make it because his ideas are crazy. Maybe if you cross your fingers, wish on a star, and click your heels together three times your wish will come true.

Well, it is unlikely that the powers that be will allow him to be nominated as the presidential candidate for the Republicans.
Ron has also shown a disinclination for running as an independent.
So we can either put pressure on the GOP delegates to vote for Ron despite discouragement by TPTB, or we can talk Ron into running independently.
How to do either I'm not sure...any ideas anyone?

You don't. Nothing aginst Ron Paul. but his views are a set of philosophical ideals--and whetheror not you agree with them, that is not a substitute for sound policy and proposals.
Simply put, he is not electable because far too many Americans are aware that his ideas simply will not work in practice.

Sad but you would have to discredit every other candidate for him to even have a chance...
The media and the political machine will decide for us!
Also think back how the media was afraid to say anything bad about G.W. for the first 4 years of his presidency. He doesn't have the look "whatever that is?" But it would be nice...

"We" can't. His position on the war makes it impossible to get nominated by the GOP, despite his position on pretty much everything else.

Let's see.......convince all of your crazy religious freaks and hillbillies in the middle of the country to vote for him in the primary.
Chances of that happening: None to None
