Do Ron Paul supporters even know who these candidates are?
It seems if this truly is a grass roots movement for change, it would not stop at the election or failure to be elected by Ron Paul...it would progress into votes for politicians running for Congress with the same views as Ron Paul. Considering how much weight Congress has in determining the direction of the country, you might even think this would be MORE important.
I really do wonder if so many of the Ron Paul supporters out there who are so adamant about getting him elected will have the same energy after the election to continue supporting his views with other candidates.

The only people I vote for will be Constitutionalists, who support changes in the tax code and an end to globalization and secure borders.
In NM Steve Pierce is running for the Senate, and I will vote for him.
The Congressional seats have yet to shake out completely, so we will see.

While Dubya may desire to be a dictator it is still Congress who makes the laws. The same would be true if Ron Paul were elected. Somehow Paul supporters seem to think he would have the power to do whatever he pleases. Those cockamaimie ideas of his wouldn't even make it out of committee let alone to the floor for a vote in either house. What we would have is pure stagnation and more of the stepping backwards we have been experiencing the last 7 years. We need to move foreward not backward so we don't need Ron Paul or any of the Republicans.

I believe so, I think that Ron Paul has tossed some kindling and then a log on a fire that was smouldering for a long time.
The real question is, will anyone with the type of views that Ron Paul has and with the ability to speak and address people run for office?

People must vote for members of Congress who truly represents the political stance of Ron Paul so that his plan for the US will be achieved.
