I haven't. Not trying to be mean, but the only people I've met that support her know little to nothing about her, her politics, or politcs in general. The majority of my smart liberal friends like Obama....some really like Ron Paul.

So, do you know (or are you) a well informed Hillary supporter?

Oh, and if you are one, why do you support her?

Is it ignorance to not know an intelligent Hillary supporter? I'm not saying they just don't exist, I just haven't met one yet.

Go Hillary - My friends are not afraid to tell me who they support and why. What makes you think Hillary supporters are so wussy?

I am. I follow and examine the candidate's positions and issues (both Democrat AND Republican) and am active in my local government issues.

I think that Obama is too inexperienced on foreign issues and Ron Paul is a bit too libertarian for my tastes. If I did not support Hillary, I'd love to see Michael Bloomberg enter the race as an Independent!

i haven't met any hilary supporters period. maybe it's the company i keep, or the fact that i rarely involve myself in political discussions (really!) personally, i support edwards, obama, kucinich, perhaps even huckabee over hilary.

i'd like to believe that there are many intelligent supporters of ANY of the major candidates for president; the alternative is to believe that there's a 'worst choice' out there who is unable to garnish any interest from 'educated' people (a loaded term, or at least a relative one, hmm?) but who has enough support from the 'popular' crowd to win nomination (or drain support from a more 'deserving' candidate... again, a relative term)

whether hilary wins the nomination or not (and i think she won't) i'm almost as intrigued in who the winner will choose as a running mate in 2008.

Bush invented the Google: You are not the least bit well informed.

I haven't either, whenever I meet a Hillary supporter, I always ask them why they made that choices. Answered I've received so far:

"She's a woman"
"She's Bill Clinton's husband"

They are all blissfully unaware of the fact she's never worked a job in her life, never managed anything, and anything political she's touched has been a disaster. What has Hillary Clinton accomplished? Nothing.

I know one. She cares alot about her ideals and her choice. I have many friends who I do not agree with. Beauty is that is what personal choice is all about. Old daze many kept their beliefs private. I enjoy a good debate.

It does get frustrating when people blame Bush here like today for Waco and have no clue Bush was not President then. There is alot to the quote "the Dumming down of America". Those fish and bait questions I can do without. Like trolling with no rod & reel ... just seems like the thing to do at the time??

EDIT: ABC broke this story that Hillary '08 is behind this website. Who else has more to gain? Who has the experience & changes often?

So when Man of the Year Putin comes a knockin will HRC claim the old boy just came after me? Or worse bomb him out of spite? The claim is no knowledge where these sites came from. How many times will American's buy into that line? Is obvious now just not working for the Clinton camp? Worked for Bill. But Bill had no internet to deal with.
.... typical it also has a big contribute sign top right ...

I can't seem to find any in person. I need to know where they are hiding so that I can ask them why on earth they support her. Of course there are no good reasons, so hopefully they will be willing to listen. It's no coincidence that her numbers run much higher with the elderly, the low income, and those without any higher education. Not exactly a crowd that is well-connected to the political beat.

Everyone keeps saying experience, but Hillary is running on her husband's resume. If you want experience, Biden or Kucinich would be considerably better.

OMG your question makes me laugh!

Thing is, it makes me think of one person I know who is ADAMANT about Hillary for prez, drives me crazy . . . he thinks she will snap her fingers and make gas 50 cents a gallon again, that she will gouge those "rich bas-turds" and give it to the workin' man, that her health care plan is actually free . . . (he's the loudest supporter I know).

The truth is, I haven't met a Hillary supporter that has a clue about what is going on.

The only Hillary supporter I've ever met was 16 years old at the time. She's now 18 and is much less shallow than she was back then.

Actually I have met Hillary supporters that are well informed. They like her and I don't. They have their reasons for liking Hillary and I have my reasons for preferring someone else.

While Bill and Hilary were the co-governors of Arkansas, I learned a lot about each of them. They are well informed and articulate but I never voted for Bill and will not vote for her because their ideas and future prospects are way too liberal If I was a Democrat, I'd vote for Obama. As a Republican, I will vote for Huckabe.

Yes, lots of them. Almost every Hillary supporter I've met is very well read and worldly. In stark contrast to most of the people I've met who are still supporting a republican presidential candidate.
