There are those of us in this world that will always feel this way no matter what we say or do. Contenment will only come when you do something in life that has meaning.
These folk probably do care for you but you cannot see it just now so you must not dwell on it or feel bad but go and do something positive with your life like voluntary work. Direct your love and energy towards other things.
Love will come knocking someday.

I call someone that I know cares and rant and rave until the feelings go away. Good friends will let you do that and it doesn't affect your friendship. Other friends only want you when everything is OK, ya know,,,those 'fair weather' friends. Like someone else said...go do something selfless for someone you do not know, like serving food to the homeless, or take food to a shut-in. There are so many ways of doing something for someone who has less than you might, this usually gets rid of my blues. Of course, after I call my good friend and rant and rave. Or as Arnold Jackson from the Tv show 'Different Strokes' would say: "When I gets da blues, I grab dat jar of cookies, and hit dat cookie jar until da blues goes away."
Be kind to yourself, holiday seasons are hard on folks. Take it easy,,,it will pass.

I pick up my guitar and start going through some chord progressions and write a song.
For me if I am down, song writing is cathartic.
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown papper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

I feel like that pretty often. When I do, I cry, sleep, take pills, eat sweets or try to talk to someone about it, so they can assure me that they do care after all. It helps most of the time.

I lay in a fetal position in front of the mirror and tell myself that one day it will all be over. And even though I was a mistake that my parents never planned on, I will one day close my eyes and wait for eternal sleep to release my pain.

This is the easiest time of year to shake that feeling. Ignore that you feel uncared for...do for others that have true simple needs and reap the joy of giving from your heart. Nothing makes you feel more wanted and rewarded than helping those in true need.

I go to a private room where no one can watch me and cry until I get tired. Sometimes I just repeat to myself " Why". I usually fall asleep and wake up feeling better.

Wax the hairs on your legs, under your arms and your pubes. That'll take your mind off being lonely for a while!
