Well, despite the fact that both are fictional characters types and ultimately useless save for entertainment purposes, if you are asking which philosophical view I most identify with, the answer is:

SITH

Why?

Because Jedi are self absorbed dreamers with little to no understanding of reality.

Balance of the dark and light is the only proper way. Detachment from the shoddy emotions of love and acceptance of the darker emotions such as hatred brings strength IF you learn to control them. Ignoring them is stupidity, giving in to them is also stupidity.

Look at it this way, the more base emotions, the darker emotions can be likened to nuclear power. If you ignore the power of nuclear power you will never achieve great power. If you do not respect, control and thus constructively harness the power, you can cause a great deal of damage. Does this mean you ignore nuclear power or embrace it responsibly?

Look at the core beliefs of the Jedi, in every versions there are a few common elements: Peace, Knowledge, Serenity & Harmony while remaining devoid or uninfluenced by emotion and passion and completely refusing to acknowledge chaos. In addition, Jedi use their powers to defend, protect and serve others rather then ruling over them.

If you are so sure your way is the correct way and you KNOW your way leads to stability, why would you refrain from ruling? Fear? Weakness? Insecurity? These weaknesses pave the way for corruption and failure. The Jedi, if real, would be week and ineffectual.

Yet the Sith code:

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."

Is far more in keeping with reality and far closer to my personal belief structure:

"Peace is an illusion, it breeds only weakness!
Without rivalry there can be no victory.
Without conflict and struggle there is only stagnation and death!
Death is the price of weakness, be strong or die!
Strength is the foundation of power!
Power is the foothold to victory!
Passion is the flame of life, control it and control life.
Let passion control you and your life will be consumed.
Through control we master anger and hatred.
Through anger and hatred we master the world.
Master your passion and freedom is yours."

The Sith would be a far more powerful and noble group. The Jedi would be sniveling cowards who lake the conviction and strength to survive.
