I never had one but am searching for recipes now. That'd be a nice new tradition since I celebrate the season as Yule versus Christmas.

I make a yuletide log the different day so I used a filling like this! a million element of cream cheese a million bath of cool whip further cocoa until eventually eventually good chocolate flavor mixed it together and it made the proper filling! good success e mail once you've questions

And I think it depends on where you come from what you call them, we call them Christmas log. (ohoh going into star trek mode help) :)
