Life has an interesting way of presenting one with unanticipated twists and turns that can necessitate significant alterations either in the goals themselves or in the time frames we've set to accomplish them.

I've found that the key is to learn to flex with these twists and turns, rather than to fight them.

Since I was born I was told that I might not live to see these age because of a really rare blood disorder, I'm now 52. So I never had any set idea of what my life would be like at any set time. Am I content with where I am in my life, for the most part, I have three great children and even though I'm dealing with depression I have a great medical team to help me both with that and the other medical issues. My girls are for the most part able to take care of themselves and my minor daughter is an honor student. Life is good and getting better.

I never had a "life plan" in the first place lol. There have been so many twists and turns in my life even from childhood, that I subconciously accepted that too much forward planning was a waste of time. You just never know what's around the corner. Go with the flow is my motto, what is meant for you will not pass you.

no, not really. not anywhere close. i don't know how long it's going to take me. i'm at a point in my life where i should have some idea. some grasp of myself and a vague picture of my future. i don't though. each day passes and nothing ever changes. just the date.

No. I am still on the same path, it's just taking longer than I thought. I am only behind 5 years or so.
