Just looked at the answers below, and didn't quite see what I needed. "Elle" it is true is a personal pronoun for she but it also means it for any female gender noun! Thus the comments that I saw only addressed the personal pronoun she correctly. Lacking is: the sentence may also mean the following about female gender nouns e.g. a car: In French a car is "la voiture", female gender, thus you could say about your car -- it is good -- or : Elle est bonne But I am not French so get the comment of a native speaker!
