I listen to classical orchestra like Mozart or mellow synthetic house music at a low volume level just to invigorate environment. I have satellite Sirius and it comes in handy.

I used to but for anything that actually required total concentration, it had to be muzak or it distracted. I actually use a same fan to provide a low level of white noise nowadays.
