Santa only delivers to Europe, Australia, North America, and South America on Christmas Eve. Two weeks later he hits Russia, the Ukraine, and other places following the Georgian Calender.

You've got mostly Muslims and Tribal Religions in Africa, so he just does a fly by. (Although he's beginning to do the same thing in Europe because it's turning into a Mecca for Muslims...pun, intended.)

With mostly Muslims, Athiest Commies in China and North Korea, Taoists, Buddhists, Shintoists, and Hindus in Asia he skips it totally. The Christians there get their deliveries from his assistants....the Subordinate Clauses!

Santa Claus is not a Christian symbol and is not mentioned in the bible. Santa Claus is a dear old man who delivers presents to little children.

I think there would be some persecution if there was an outright religious connotation to him.

Santa Clause does deliver to kids in Saudi and China. But first he turns Rudolph's nose off. Santa doesn't discriminat between christian kids and other kids, unlike some christians I know.

The laws in China or Saudi Arabia are not aimed at the children but rather the one delivering presents. They have to catch him first.
