Sovereignty (includes immigration/illegal immigration problems, outsourcing, corporate tax loopholes/offshore, wage deflation in industries that Americans rely on, or run businesses with, and border defense/strong military, and more)
No pre-emptive wars unless absolutely necessary, no occupations or police actions. Butt out of other countries that don't want us there. Stop borrowing money for these wars, that even our grand children might not be able to pay back.
Waste. Don't waste OUR tax dollars on things that don't directly help Americans. Admit that our Federal income tax only pays the interest on money borrowed from the Fed. Stop the hidden inflation tax, which is actually more like 8-10% per year, which steals from seniors nest eggs and retirement accounts.
Give states back some of their rights and oversight. it's much more efficient to pass legislation like Health Care, or whatever some people feel strongly about, locally, than nationally. What may be good for California, may be terrible for Alaska, or vice versa.
That's technically only 4 things, but I covered a lot of issues. If someone trustworthy can promise to even start the process on 60% of those things, I would vote for them. In fact, I am.

First of all, to all those people saying global warming, you all are being lied by the MEDIA! If you look into science documentary and science professor they are going to tell you that it's the sun that's getting hotter. The sun is getting hotter and melting the Ice Cap from Mars and the Ice rings from Saturn. And that ever changing sun is what causing our heat ness in our world. Not us! The Media is just putting this up to your face so they can bring up the excuse of taxing with a tax called "CARBON TAX"! If you don’t know about Carbon tax Google it up!
And as far as the president goes, there are going to be 2 candidates that will make it. If it's not Ron Paul then it's going to be Hillary Clinton. And Hillary Clinton is going to sustain the war in Iraq for 4 more years and continue to trash our constitution for the glory of the so called “terrorism”. And not to mention that Hillary supports Bush plan of invading Iran!

1. Iraq/ terrorism
2. Tax reform
3. Immigration
4. Elimination/ phasing out of entitlement programs
5. Appointing judges who understand the Constitution
Most of the issues which need to be addressed have one thing in common. They need funding. So tax reform is very important. If it is done right some of the other issues will be easier to fix. Some may even fix themselves.
Tax reform should be a top priority.

1. Illegal immigration (to NOT include open borders, any form of amnesty whatsoever, or benefits of any kind to illegals).
2. Social Security (a real answer not privatization, or ignoring it...best answer I have heard so far is raising or eliminating the cap on the base).
3. War in Iraq (fight it ruthlessly or leave...stop spending American lives and money on a third world sand pit).
4. Energy changes to eliminate oil dependency (best solution by far is hydrogen and nuclear power...and all of this should not take any where near 20 years).
5. Pulling us from unfair trade agreements and policies with foreign nations (basically this would require withdrawing from virtually all trade agreements and renegotiating with those willing in accordance with a fair trade policy rather than a "free" trade policy).

1. Education
2. Prevention of stupid people from breeding
3. Immigration (If we can keep people in prisons then we can certainly keep illegals out of the US)
4. Rebuilding American free enterprise (by heavily, heavily taxing greedy corporate companies like Wal Mart who export everything from China, and regulating banking institution practices)
5. Keeping the military up to strength (the military=jobs and careers to many young people who could otherwise not afford college)
6. The space program (If we can afford this war, we can afford to build space colonies)

Frankly the less the gubment does the better most of the time. Leave the "solutions" to problems in the hands of the people. The gubment is not good at providing solutions - they usually make problems worse.

roll it all up into a snowball and throw it against a wall. Every candidate has some issue everyone doesn't like. I'm more interested in national security and taxes, that's why I'm leaning tword McCain. All I hear from the dems is tax and spend as usual, and cut and run from radical religious extremists who want us dead.
