Ours reminds me a lot of Radiohead. Check them out, especially the "Distorted Lullabies" CD.

They were HEAVILY influenced by the Pixies (Thom Yorke said they changed directions after OK Computer because they ran out of Pixies stuff to rip off on a documentary) and the Talking Heads. I bet they love them some early Bowie too.
It kind of depends on what other stuff you like (Radiohead is so distinctive), but you might like Grandaddy, maybe try Terror Twilite by Pavement (Nigel Godrich who did a bunch of Radiohead records produced it), later (but not the last record because it sucks) Blur, maybe Sonic Youth. You might like Muse.

Indie:
Band of Horses
The Shins
If you like the eerie, dark, electronic, creative:
Portishead
Go to the sources:
The Beatles (White Album - especially "Happiness Is A Warm Gun").
Thom Yorke speaking about Paranoid Android: "It really started out as three seperate songs and we didn't know what to do with them," explains Thom of the creation of the six-and-a-half-minute epic. "Then we thought of 'Happiness [Is a Warm Gun] - which was obviously three different bits that John Lennon put together - and said, 'Why don't we try that?'"
1970s David Bowie (especially albums: Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane)
Crazy, Totally Unique:
Frank Zappa

Listen to Neil Young. He's obviously not new but he makes amazing music. Thom Yorke has also cited him as an influence.
